Job description
FEG is looking for a geophysical field technician to support seismic, electrical, and GPR surveys on infrastructure and energy projects across Saudi Arabia.
You will work with experienced geophysicists and engineers to acquire high-quality field data, maintain equipment, and follow strict HSE and QA procedures on active sites.
Responsibilities Include:
• Mobilising and demobilising field crews and survey equipment
• Operating geophysical acquisition systems under senior supervision
• Completing daily field logs, coordinates, and as-built sketches
• Performing basic equipment checks, battery management, and cable layout
• Supporting data QC checks before transfer to processing teams
• Complying with site HSE rules, PPE requirements, and permit conditions
Requirements
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in geophysics, geosciences, or a related engineering field
• 1–3 years of field survey experience (seismic, ERT, GPR, or magnetics preferred)
• Willingness to travel and work on remote sites across KSA
• Valid Saudi driving licence (or eligible to obtain one)
• Good communication in English; Arabic is a plus
• Physically fit for outdoor work in desert and construction environments
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, GPS/coordinate handling)
