Methods & Techniques

01
Seismic Methods
Seismic methods use artificially generated waves to image subsurface layers based on how waves travel through rocks by using multichannel analysis of surface waves (MASW) surveys, seismic refraction, downhole seismic, crosshole seismic, and crosshole seismic tomography. These methods provide critical insights into subsurface structures, layer continuity, and material properties for geotechnical and geological evaluations.

02
Electrical Methods
Electrical methods study the subsurface using electrical current to measure how well rocks and soils conduct electricity by using advanced electrical resistivity tomography (ERT), vertical electrical sounding (VES), and induced polarization (IP) techniques to map subsurface resistivity variations, detect groundwater and cavities, and evaluate sulfide mineralization zones for detailed mineral and resource assessment.

03
Electromagnetic Methods
Electromagnetic methods use time-varying electromagnetic fields to measure the electrical conductivity of the subsurface by using high-resolution electromagnetic surveys, time-domain electromagnetic (TDEM), frequency-domain electromagnetic (FDEM), and ground penetrating radar (GPR) investigations for detecting buried utilities, archaeological features, mineralized zones, and subsurface anomalies with excellent resolution.

04
Gravity Methods
Gravity methods measure variations in the Earth’s gravitational field caused by differences in subsurface rock density. These density contrasts help identify different geological structures and materials without disturbing the ground.

05
Magnetic Methods
Magnetic methods measure variations in the Earth’s magnetic field caused by the magnetism of subsurface rocks. Widely used in onshore surveys for mineral exploration, geological mapping, and structural interpretation.

06
Borehole Geophysics & Wireline Logging
Borehole geophysics uses geophysical tools inside a drilled hole to measure the properties of surrounding rocks and fluids. It provides detailed subsurface information beyond what surface surveys can detect, including acoustic televiewer, cement bond, flow meter, formation resistivity, full waveform sonic, gamma-gamma density, natural gamma, neutron porosity, optical televiewer, resistivity, PS suspension, temperature, and conductivity logging. These techniques provide detailed lithological correlation, stratigraphic continuity, and integration with surface geophysical data.
