Scope of work
FEG mobilised ultrasonic logging equipment to assess concrete quality between access tubes cast into production piles. Testing was timed after concrete strength exceeded the specified minimum for reliable signal transmission.
Scope of work included:
Tube condition survey and access verification before probe insertion.
CSL acquisition at nominal 50 mm vertical intervals between tube pairs.
Velocity tomography and defect screening against project acceptance thresholds.
Correlation of low-velocity zones with construction records and pour sequences.
Pile-by-pile integrity classification and summary register for the client QA team.
