Static Pile Load Testing

The test pile was instrumented with vibrating wire strain gauges and tell-tale extensometers to separate shaft and end-bearing response. Loading followed a multi-cycle maintained load procedure agreed with the structural designer.

Scope of work included:

Test frame, kentledge, and reaction system design check prior to mobilisation.

Instrumentation installation and baseline readings before loading.

Maintained load cycles with hold periods and recovery monitoring.

Strain distribution analysis and t–z / Q–z interpretation.

Certified test report with assessed pile capacity and recommendations for production piles.
