Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT)

Scope of work

FEG mobilised a geophysical crew to acquire high-resolution resistivity data over a programme area adjacent to the Al Ula development corridor. Acquisition was completed with tight QA on electrode contact, geometry, and daily data review.

Scope of work included:

Desktop study and line planning aligned with client hydrogeological targets and access constraints.

Acquisition of 2D ERT profiles using a multi-electrode resistivity system with roll-along where required.

Daily QC of raw stacks, contact resistance logs, and geometry checks prior to processing release.

Inversion modelling to produce depth sections and plan maps of resistivity distribution.

Interpretation report correlating resistivity anomalies with expected lithology and groundwater potential.
